Why give?

    Dads’ Liquid Therapy is first and foremost a social group looking to have a positive impact in our local community.

    We started in 2012 to have a place for dads to get together and socialize with other dads. But we wanted to do something more, so we started taking donations from each monthly meet up to be able to donate to other dads through microloans (Kiva).

    In 2019, we started refocusing on having a more local impact. We started with our annual golf tournament by raising $15,000 for Homeward Alliance. Just from a bunch of dads coming together, playing golf, and having a good time together.

    Now, our monthly events bring in around $500-$1000 to local charities and non-profits while our annual golf tournament brings in north of $20,000 annually for organizations we support.

 FAQs

  • For our monthly events, donations to DLT usually get you a free beer/cocktail. We then work with the brewery or distillery to support a charity or cause they care about. Sometimes, we choose one of our local charities that we support throughout the year.

  • All of it. For our monthly events, we pass all of the donations on to the charity or non-profit, often times, we as a group will double the impact with matching funds.

  • We don’t. We’re a 501(c)3 non-profit. We do have some minor operating costs and these are usually managed through income via the golf tournament and through board member dues.

  • You sure can! Reach out to us to ask for a donation receipt if you need one. This goes for monthly events and the golf tournament fees/donations.
